Located on an east-facing slope a few miles from the Pacific Ocean, Thorn Ridge is an exceptional vineyard for making the type of elegant, driven Pinots that we prefer.

I've worked with this vineyard for 13 years now, and this is one of my favorites. The perfect cool climate of the vintage combined with our first time getting some fruit from the 777 block, makes this distinctive. We have young vine 115, old vine 115, Pommard, 667, and 777 clones for the first time and I think it shows itself in an extra level of complexity.
