Picked before the fires started in mid-August, this is one of two wines we were able to make in the infamous 2020 vintage. Aged one year in barrel and 3 years on the lees, this sleek wine combines mineral tension and California bounty together. One 1 g/L of dosage.
This is an elegant rosé with understated lemon peel. Strawberry wafts out of the glass, and white peach and chamomile flowers are left on the palate. Refreshing and outgoing, we’re thrilled with how vibrant this wine is showing right out of the gates. From an organic vineyard in Potter Valley. Whole cluster pressed immediately upon arrival.
Special Reserve is our tribute to the cool climate, hillside Pinot Noir on the Sonoma Coast. Each barrel in our cellar is a unique creation, and we treat them as such. Each one represents a specific section or clone in a unique vineyard and also a unique fermentation.
Libertine is our ever-morphing, multi-vintage, multi-variety blend from Sonoma County. No. 9 is a blend of 52% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Dolcetto.
LIMIT TWO—The Kiser Vineyard Pinot Noirs are a fascinating study on variations of a theme. All are specifically Kiser and more alike when compared to other vineyards. However, when tasted as a set, they are all distinctive among themselves, each showcasing a different expression. The lower block is by nature more dark-fruited and brooding.
