2022 Rice Spivak Pinot Noir Magnum

Rice-Spivak is from a six-acre vineyard south of the town of Sebastopol.  We love it for its exotic aromatic profile and sensuous character. 

+ The soils in this vineyard are Goldridge sandy loam along with volcanic ash. Goldridge is very common for the area but the volcanic ash is quite unusual.
+ Rice-Spivak is situated just outside the northern edge of the Petaluma Wine Gap which provides a daily refrigerating dose of cool air.
+ The vineyard produces small clusters with tiny berries of extremely intense, aromatic fruit which certainly shows through in the glass.
