2021 Monte Rosso Vineyard Sangiovese

Above the town of Agua Caliente, Monte Rosso’s name is derived from the volcanic red loam soil that is present there. This Sangiovese is like the Brunello to our Windsor Oaks Vineyard’s more Chianti Classico style. This wine has beautiful aromas of grilled fruit and leather. It is followed by profound flavors of cassis, strawberry, cherry, and warm baking spices. Yet underpinned by great acidity with notes of orange peel.
