2021 Kiser Vineyard Pinot Noir, Lower Block 1.5L MAGNUM

The Kiser Vineyard Pinot Noirs are a fascinating study on variations of a theme. All are specifically Kiser and more alike when compared to other vineyards. However, when tasted as a set, they are all distinctive among themselves, each showcasing a different expression.

The lower block is by nature more dark-fruited and brooding than the upper.  Dark plum, mushroom, blackberry and a pleasant musk.  The back part of the experience is lively and minerally.  A beautiful counterpoint to the upper if you can open both and compare.  This thoroughbred rewards a decant at this point in its life.
