2019 Cabernet Franc

A regal and stylish Cabernet Franc with notes of kirsch, sweet tobacco, fresh cherry and savory herbs.  This is the first time we've released a standalone Cab Franc.

Normally all of our Cabernet Franc, no matter how good, goes into the Libertine blend.  It's an important part of making that wine so distinctive.  When tasting the barrels over the last couple of years, there was something that just kept making its case to be bottled alone to show off the goods.  It just couldn't be denied. We decided that we would bottle just enough to show it off to the Band of Reeve members.  The rest is in Libertine #6 and it shines there too.
