2022 Reeve Heritage Pinot Noir

Heritage clones are those that have mutated in place, here in California, to become their own unique expression of the grape.  In Pinot Noir you will hear names like Mt. Eden, Calera and Swan as some of these Heritage clones paying tribute to the site of the new material.  This wine pays tribute to our unique viticultural history and is a singular expression of Pinot. In 2022 we were given both a small crop and a very hot end of the growing season weather. Luckily, we work with some very cool climate sites which can act as a buffer to the extremes.
