2022 Mirama Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Our cool climate ethos really paid off in the heat inflected vintage of 2022. While the vintage overall was defined by heat spikes, our vineyards, influenced by the chilly Pacific retained great freshness and purity. In 2022 the Mirama Pinot Noir is a blend of Thorn Ridge, Rice-Spivak and the Charles Heintz Vineyards. The final blend included lots that were 90% de-stemmed and10% whole cluster. It was fermented in small two-ton, open top fermenters with daily punchdowns. This wine was aged in a mixture of new (25%) and used French oak barrels for 18 months.
